Wood Farm Visitors Centre - Harborough

We visited this restaurant for the first time today and were greeted warmly by the staff. Despite being busy, we were able to find a seat as many people opted to dine outdoors. We decided to try the carvery and were impressed with the selection of three beautifully cooked meats and fresh vegetables. The meal was thoroughly enjoyable and we appreciated that the staff didn't constantly interrupt us to ask how everything was. We will definitely be coming back here again.

The restaurant is now under new management and is open every day from noon for drinks and food. The brewery will be reopening soon, where you can watch Kev working diligently to brew some of the best ales in the area.

I thoroughly enjoyed the food at Wood Farm, but I was informed that the restaurant is closing down. It's truly disappointing. I think it's due to the closure of the brewery that they haven't been able to attract enough customers to stay open.

Wood Farm brewery is a brilliant place, visited by us frequently. The food is excellent on a week day, but you especially have to try the Sunday roasts!! Local food and beers! The staff are friendly and polite, and cater to your needs. The grounds itself are nice, with plenty of outdoor space, perfect for a summers drink! And if you own dogs or are a dog lover, the outdoor area is perfect for them too! Great place, would highly recommend.

It had been quite a while since we visited Wood Farm Brewery and on arrival it became clear that a change in ownership was a good thing. Beer as always was great and the food was also good. Menu had changed (for the better) and the portion size and taste were great. Staff were helpful and welcoming and overall price represented good value for money. All in all a good place to go with family or friends.
