Recently, the mocha cheesecake had no flavor, at ALL, nothing. Weird. The young man handingout orders at the side door was very unfriendly. No smile, no eye contact, yelled the order number and that was it. I was theonly person waiting! He could have said something! The place is just not the same. No more indoor dining where you could see allthe choices and watch the staff. It was nice and friendly. No more. Now everything is curtained off, you can not see insideanymore. Weird. Better to go to New Salem General Store for better product and better people!
Have been going here for years?always loved it?today was my last visit. Food is still very good?.but the experience overall just awful. You order and sit outside on a bench (like a kid in time out). The staff has been rude lately. I spent my time on the?time out? bench googling other places to give my business to. The atmosphere was always nice?..now ruined?..really sad aboutthis.
I cannot praise this bakery enough. The breads and pastries are absolutely incredible I would swear the croissant and baguette came straight from a Paris oven. This is truly a foodie's dream.
I have had bread and pastries from so many bakeries and I can?t stress how delicious every single thing I have had from Rose 32 is. The sourdough bread is so crusty and makes the perfect grilled cheese. The Kouign-amann is probably the single mostdelicious food item I?ve ever had. The lemonade is amazing as well. I?m so blessed to have them close to my home as they are thebest bread I?ve had. Seven Stars bakery in Providence is also excellent bread but not as delicious as rose 32. Seven stars evenmills their own grain from local wheat and their bread still isn?t quite as good. Make the trip and get anything that you mightbe interested in.
The sandwiches were good. The pastries though, were awesome! I had the strawberry rhubarb pie. The crust was beautifully made both for it's look and it's taste. It was flakey, soft, and sweet. My favorite was the cheddar onion biscuit. A bite brought meto savory food heaven. You could taste both of the main ingredients equally and the texture was so soft and a tiny bit crispy inthe perfect spots.
