Seated in a banquet booth with 6 people, we enjoyed the lovely decor and great atmosphere. The service was exceptional, with attentive servers checking on us regularly. The staff was very accommodating to my brother's peanut allergy, providing a menu that highlighted dishes containing nuts. The food and cocktails were excellent, with standout dishes including the eggplant (even for someone who typically dislikes it), pork buns, and the squid special. I highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning in the future!
Booked a table here for my wife's Birthday lunch on a Saturday. We love Thai and Vietnamese food, but find that most restaurants serve up dishes that fail to excite the taste buds. Not here!! The service was 1st class (and they were busy! . The food arrived in a timely manner and presentation was very good. The à la carte menu was not complicated and offered a good selection that would suit most tastes, and is best shared. So don't expect your typical Thai cuisine here, this is very different and very special. Enjoy !! Thanks Matty, we'll be back.
This restaurant is fantastic! We tried the chef's selection menu and absolutely enjoyed the crispy eggplant and the snapper. Our only critiques are that the dishes came out too quickly one after the other, and the cold Thai salad was extremely spicy. Other than those minor issues, everything else was excellent!
We traveled from Sydney and went to The Lucky Bee for dinner on June 11th and had an amazing Saturday night with friends. The cocktails were delicious, especially the pink palaces! The staff was friendly and the music was excellent. The atmosphere was fantastic! My favorite dishes were the eggplant and steak tartare. I look forward to returning soon to enjoy cocktails and yum cha by the waterfront.
Hands down some of the best food I’ve had on the coast. I dined here with hubby a few weeks ago and then again last night with my sister who’s visiting from the UK who was also wowed by the diverse flavours of the dishes. The Betel Leaves were divine, the deep fried eggplant we’re still drooling over, the Szechuan pepper chicken wings were succulent and moreish; I could go on…you get the gist, the food is spectacular, along with the super friendly staff (on both occasions I visited). The location is wonderful I can’t wait to come and hang by the water in summer time. Thank you for making my tastebuds explode with delight! Matty Rupert, I know you’re working on adding some additional desserts one day I can’t wait til you do because I know they’ll taste amaaaaazing! Will definitely be back again soon!
