Cally Munchy - Haringey

Great food fusion rather than all African and a welcoming place. Ate early before a theatre performance so the place was empty other than us. Hope they get better business at other times they deserve it! Go and try the place!!

This restaurant is amazing. The atmosphere is super laid-back and the food is fantastic. They offer a blend of Nigerian, Ghanaian, and other African cuisines with unique items like Bao buns and Wagyu steak. The bar at the Africa Centre serves delicious drinks, such as fizzy palm wine in a "champagne style". The service is top-notch, with the owner even serving us and explaining the different dishes. Located near the Old Vic, Young Vic, and South Bank, it's a great spot for a pre-theatre meal. We feel fortunate to have discovered this place, as they have just recently reopened.

The restaurant at the African center has won a special place in my heart. The straightforward menu hinted at a focus on quality dishes over quantity, and the chef delivered. The welcoming atmosphere and comforting, flavorful dishes made for a great dining experience. The moi bao was delicious, and I almost wanted another, but I saved room for the wagu suya, which was also excellent along with the accompanying jollof rice. I couldn't find any faults and I will definitely be returning with friends and family to share this amazing culinary experience.

We had a fantastic evening at Africa Centre restaurant Cally Munchy. The staff were extremely friendly and the food was delicious. We started with chicken and moin moin, followed by wagyu suya with jollof rice, beans, and plantains. The flavors were amazing, and we were impressed by the talented chef and staff.

We had 2 of the burgers at a football tournament one veggie and one beef. Flavourful and fresh and really lovely staff!
