I recently dined at a charming Italian restaurant just before Christmas. This long-standing restaurant/cafe had a wonderful atmosphere, with walls lined with a variety of delicious food items such as panettone, jams, salamis, and coffee. They also had a deli section. I tried the excellent 'salsicce al uccelletto', which turned out to be cannelloni filled with spicy sausages. It was delicious and reminded me of home-cooked meals. The restaurant also had a spacious terrace outdoors, perfect for people-watching in this trendy neighborhood.
This place is the best restaurant in crouch end: eating is like in italia for a reasonable price, the terrace is ideal for sunny days and the friendliness of the staff. try it!
It can be difficult to find a good dentist in this city. I used to have a good one in Earl's Court, right above Addi's, but he disappeared and nobody knew where he went. His replacement has never done a good job. Thank you.
A really nice Italian food place. Ate lunch here just before xmas. This well established restaurant/cafe has great athmosphere and the walls indeed everywhere are choc a bloc with lovely foods, pannattone, james, salamis, coffees etc. There is a Deli also. I ordered excellent Salsicce al Uccelletto' which turns out to be cannelloni beans with spicy sausages... fabbulous. Cooking it at home now. Also a great large outdoor undercover terrace for people watching in this trendy area.
