Kelly’s Brunch House - Harper Woods

I really enjoy the steak stir fry and pepper steak at this restaurant. However, I must warn you: no two meals are the same, even if you order the same dish. There are many different cooks, and they all have their own way of preparing food. Make sure to check your order before you leave, as I've had to call and complain several times because my meals were not prepared correctly, especially when I requested specific changes. It feels more like a diner experience, but with cooks who have that classic Coney Island style.

I ordered delivery with a coworker, and I found that the styrofoam had melted into my food. Unfortunately, I won't be ordering from this place again, as I couldn't even eat my meal. Can't they switch to paper containers for delivery like Coney Island did? Or at least use parchment paper between the food and the styrofoam? It feels like a lack of effort and consideration for customers. I’m giving it 2 stars instead of 1 because the food actually looked like it could have been good if I had been able to eat it.

This is a fantastic place for comfort food! It’s becoming rare to find places like this these days! Make sure to tip them generously—they really deserve it! The only thing I would suggest is adding a black bean burger or something similar for vegetarians.

3 AM. Fantastic service and delicious food. We're really fortunate to have them in the neighborhood around the clock. It's the only place nearby that provides this level of service. I can't wait to keep coming back!

The food and service were excellent! It was my first visit, and I definitely plan to return.
