Longhorn Cafe - Harper

Great service awful huh and waffel used to be great....no longer very sad!

I recently dined at a restaurant in Harper with my family, determined to enjoy the huevos divorciados that I had always found to be well-prepared and delicious. However, I faced a difficult decision this time around. The chicken served with the dish was terrible. Whoever decided to change the recipe made a poor choice. The chicken looked like a frozen cutlet, and the waffle was just as disappointing. I tried to hold the bun and waffle in my hands but couldn't bring myself to eat any more because I was really hoping for a great breakfast. I mentioned my concerns to the waitress, and when it came time to pay, I was surprised that the owner or cook charged me for both dishes, even though I only sampled a part of the plate. It seemed like a bad business decision to me. We were all puzzled by the quality of the food and the choices made by the restaurant staff.

Eating was excellent. but I ordered a pecan pie and when I came home to eat it. there were no pecans on him

Really good home cooking very cool little restaurant. A hidden gem .

The chicken fried steak was excellent, and the fried okra was truly exceptional. Additionally, the service was outstanding. I highly recommend this charming small-town comfort food restaurant.
