Coffee Mill - Harpers Ferry

I’ve lived in the area all my life and checked this place out for the first time. This restaurant gave the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. Me and my father ordered two burgers. 1 jalapeño without tomato. and one regular, $35 all together with drinks. which is already crazy for them using frozen Pattie’s. When our order was ready, we only received the jalapeño burger and it had tomato… I had to ASK for our second burger to be made. And once it was made The French Fries weren’t even Cooked. The cook had put some kind of heavy seasoning on the French fries to hide the fact he don’t completely fry them. This was the FIRST time I have ever refunded food… but the service was absolutely horrible, and so were there frozen $14 cheeseburgers. I don’t recommend anyone come to this restaurant. There are plenty of other GREAT restaurants in town.

Friendly staff. Plenty of seating inside and out. Enjoyed their latte. They also have a wide variety of pastries.

We literally threw away $12 at this place. My husband got a coffee and I got a hot fudge sundae, and we both threw them out. We ended up going to a different coffee shop up the hill and had significantly better coffee/dessert for a better price and overall better experience.

DO NOT GIVE ANY TIPS OR CONDUCT BUSINESS HERE, HERE'S WHY: Was super dehydrated and needed water, showing symptoms of heat stroke (eg: headaches). Told that it'll cost me for 1 bottle of water. Does not offer free water, so had to pay full price for one $3. Employees show no empathy or understanding of hikers legitimately needing something for survival.
