This was formerly a popular Italian gasthof des harris parks, but the demand for Indian restaurants in the environment has changed. since many Indians now harris park and environments call home, eating must be good or it won't. Luckily I can survive for the quality of eating, it is delicious. the service is perhaps a department that needs to be dressed and the doors were open on a cool, scary evening that was not a great idea, but otherwise I would recommend this restaurant.
I use this restaurant as peroni’s. the new owners have very big to fill them, the lands / gardens look terrible. that was poor, so a shame, will not be back.
We visited this on a weekend for dinner, and quite liked the atmosphere and decor. There were a few tables that were occupied, and it wasn't too noisy or crowded After being seated, we soon noticed a mild winter breeze that was chilling us out....The wait staff noticed this, and offered to move us to a warmer area, shut an open door, etc; which was very thoughtful of them The menu has a number of indian dishes not found in the other indian restaurants in Harris Park, which drew us to this restaurant in the first place. We had the cauliflower fry (which was excellent); some rotis, and lamb and prawn dish. The lamb was a bit so-so; some pieces were tender, some were tough. The prawns were either re-boiled or straight from the freezer, and needed a knife or a form hand to cut thru. I don't think I've ever had prawns like this before! Both gravies (or curries) were quite tasty. BYO was a decent $2 per person Although the food wasn't great, we would return again to try some of the other dishes on the menu. And maybe on a warmer day...
I visited here for dinner on a groupon voucher. It was very quiet and I think this is a new restaurant. The staff were really friendly but they did not have masala tea or lassi. We had two entrees which were good but the palak...paneer did not have much flavour.
