Best South Indian food in Sydney, specials the buffet system on weekends. The quality of food has not changed in years , good service and very homely experience. I would always recommend this place to all my friends who appreciate home made South Indian food.
The $15 breakfast buffet offers the best bang for your buck when it comes to South Indian food that tastes like a homemade meal. The highlight of the experience is the frequent hot refills of vadas, dosas, and puris. The menu is diverse and the overall quality of food is excellent. The service is also top-notch.
This charming restaurant is named after the owner, whose passion for food led her to open the establishment. One of our top Indian choices is the Dosa, a thin chickpea flour pancake with a satisfying crunch. While there was no filling included, we enjoyed the spicy Coconut chutney on the side. We were also introduced to the Southern Indian breakfast staple Idli, a delicate rice cake similar to Bao, ideal for soaking up sauce. It was served with a flavorful sambar sauce and a dollop of the delicious coconut chutney, creating a delightful vegetarian combination.
Entering the restaurant, ambience reminded me of an authentic South Indian restaurant serving the local cuisine back in India. We had the non-vegetarian meals which perfectly catered to our taste buds. Served rice and chapathi flat bread . There were four different curries in chicken and lamb with a chicken entree like a stir fry and a sweet dish. Overall an authentic South Indian dish with spot-on flavours.
