Big J's Road House - Harrisburg

Very nice establishment. The menu has a little bit everything, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the food quality was outstanding. The building itself was a little small inside but well appointed. I had the surf and turf, the steak was very flavorful and cooked exactly as requested and the shrimp were delicious. Great place to visit just outside of Sioux Falls.

I had the brisket platter. The brisket was tender with excellent smoky flavor. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. I would highly recommend this place, and I do plan on returning to try their ribs. Thank you for the excellent service.

I love their food. The appetizer nachos with the pulled pork on them... you can eat to yourself and not feel hungry after. I would say all the food on the menu is good.... I have not had all the food on their menu though. 10/10 would keep going. Their drinks are also fairly priced!Kid-friendliness: They have coloring utensils for the little ones.Parking: Parking can be a hassle if the building to the east is having an event.

They have very good food! When we've eaten in, always friendly people working. Take out option for the food is great too!

Small and cozy inside but lots of great seating outside as well. If it's not too hot, it is very nice to sit outside to eat.I ordered a Chicken Philly sandwich but without the bun cause I'm gf but it was fantastic. I also really enjoyed my garlic mashed potatoes.Husband got a hickory burger with fries. He said the burger was very messy but very good and the fries were excellent.The things we thought might improve our experience was maybe wet wipes since bbq is sticky and seasoning salt on the fries. Beyond that, we were very pleased with our visit and do plan to go back!Parking: Lots of parking and shares a lot with Air MadnessDietary restrictions: Lots of items had a gf option on the menu
