Steam Cafe - Harrisburg

I absolutely loved this, just woke up this morning to find that there was a cafe around town. They serve breakfast ALL day!! I got one of there bowls so good!! ?

Really good coffee and breakfast. Got the chicken and waffles, a breakfast bowl with sausage, and a biscuit. The biscuit was great crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Highly recommended this place.

I read many, many reviews for this place. It gets a lot of 5 star reviews. They do not know how to make proper hash browns period. They 're like a lump of wet noodles. The service is prompt and very polite. My son got the single chicken and waffle. The serving size of the chicken is very small. About the size of two small cheese sticks stuck together. They offered me jelly, I asked if they had jam and they said they did. So they brought me jelly. The waffle that my son ate had so much cinnamon and sugar on it. He forced himself to eat about half of it and could not finish it. My eggs were good, the toast was good, my tea was okay, and the sausage wasn 't even as good as McDonald 's. My son 's coffee was supposed to have espresso in it and it did not. The prices on Google maps look reasonable when you look at their menu, but by the time you get done adding sides and a tip, over $30 for two breakfasts, neither of which were able to be finished because of substandard hash, brown mush and a waffle. That was so sweet it was inedible. The people here are very nice but they need to learn a little more about how to cook.

Out of towner here. This place is so nice! Coffee and food was delicious. And the atmosphere made it even better. Workers were super friendly as well! Will probably eat here every time I stop through. :

We?ll come back. Headed to a car show in Kentucky, did a search and found it. Like to support local if we can. Greeted with a cheerful hello by ladies at the counter, even made eye contact when we walked in. Both are rare these days. We each had the breakfast bowl. I had the sausage cheese small bowl) Bob had the all meat large bowl with sausage, bacon and ham). Both were excellent. Freshly cooked. Served hot. All the workers collaborate for service, great team work. We?ll come back.
