Golden China - Harrisonburg

During our visit to the Harrisonburg, VA area on October 4, 2022, we decided to look for a good Chinese buffet. After reading reviews and considering ratings, we ended up at the 'Golden China Restaurant'. They offer an all-you-can-eat buffet with a variety of Chinese dishes, as well as a small sushi bar. I am not a fan of sushi, so I cannot comment on the quality of their sushi offerings. However, I can say that many of the dishes on the buffet were of good quality.

If you enjoy Chinese buffets, this is a great spot to try. The food is delicious and highly recommended. The bathrooms could use more lighting, but they are clean. The service and overall cleanliness of the restaurant are outstanding.

I adore this restaurant. I visit for special occasions and also get takeout from there. The staff are extremely friendly and attentive. They seat you quickly, bring drinks promptly, offer excellent service, and the food is absolutely delicious! The atmosphere is fantastic. I'm a huge fan! I always eagerly anticipate my next visit. I've been coming here since I turned 16 and the food continues to impress me year after year. They have a fantastic variety of dishes to choose from.

My mom and I stopped here twice on our latest visit to the area. This is a small restaurant with a single dining room and a short buffet line, but they serve all the usual favorites on it and prepare them very well. The only oddity is that the plates and bowls are stacked almost in the middle of the buffet tables instead of at one end. Don't overlook the sushi bar, which is separate from the main buffet line in the raised area. They had great choices there too.
