Red Lobster - Harrisonburg

When our food arrived, I was surprised to find chicken instead of shrimp in my Kung Pao dish. My daughter received a full adult portion of shrimp Alfredo, as did my wife. At this point, we still hadn’t received our biscuits, beer, or straws. My wife and I started eating, but we had to remove the shrimp from our daughter's plate as we looked to make it more suitable for her. The Kung Pao chicken raised some concerns; the texture was unusual, and I began to feel sick, ultimately stopping my meal. My wife felt the same way about her shrimp Alfredo; the shrimp tasted overly waterlogged, and the texture was questionable too. The Alfredo sauce seemed like it came straight from a jar and had been microwaved. Eventually, I was told they didn’t have the beer I had requested earlier. When I asked for straws again for my daughter's soda, the waitress finally returned with them. By that point, I was feeling really unwell, so I returned my food and asked for it to be removed from the bill. When we requested our bill, we were incorrectly charged for another table's order. The waitress finalized our bill, but we were still charged for adult portions for my child, although I didn’t say anything because we just wanted to leave. Now that we’re home, both my wife and I are feeling sick, having been in and out of the bathroom multiple times since leaving. It seems likely we’ve contracted some sort of food poisoning. We definitely won’t be returning to this restaurant. The only positive note is that my daughter enjoyed her noodles.

The service was good, but the food was just mediocre. I recommend sticking to seafood, as that seemed to be the best option. We ordered the "Date Night Feast for Two," and the shrimp was the only dish I’d truly recommend. We ordered two sirloin steaks cooked medium, but one came out medium-well and the other well-done. I mentioned the issue with the well-done steak to the server, and she was very nice and had it replaced. Unfortunately, the new steak was quite rare, around medium-rare. After three attempts, we finally got it right.

I absolutely loved the food! This was my husband's first time here, but it definitely won't be his last. Our waiter, Tanner, was fantastic! Thank you so much!

Consistently excellent and always dependable. The only downside was the green beans, which weren't good at all. Everything else was fantastic, just like it always has been.

The service was prompt and friendly, and the food was truly delicious.
