Apple Barrel Restaurant - Harrisonville

Sunday, 22. May 2022 was my first visit. This restaurant is located within the Sapp Brothers Truck Station in Harrisonville, MO. I was there at 4:31, which it was not too busy at the time. The place started to fill. My waitress brought my iced tea and about 5:00. I stopped her and asked where my order was? She saw her tickets and realized that my order was not placed with the kitchen. I can refer to how I was a waitress and things happen. She apologised over and over, went to the kitchen to spread the order and left it out. She came right by and said my meal would be half price, be in 4 minutes and apologized again. I can be patient, but I was really hungry. I had the burned ends and I was very happy. The fruits and beans were delicious. I had a piece of Pecan Pier to go. It was so good. I'm back!

The fries and the dipping sauce were fantastic! Overall, the food was delicious, the service was great, and our meals arrived in a timely manner, especially for a Sunday afternoon!

This place is great. The first time here I'm a trucker decided to see if the food was good. I was blown away, I ordered the egg plate and got a cinnamon roll over pancakes when I told you it was wonderful the food was super hot and super good. Customer service was excellent nice and courteous workers coming back definitely picture is on cinnamon roll has not made pictures of the other food

Waitress in the morning she's a boss, she walked with restaurant and kept everything in place and she's the last of the greatest memories of the waitress. She needs the tips, come on people show her your love. Thank you.

We stopped at this truck stop for a quick meal, and the only option available was the Apple Barrel. I didn't have high expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the comfort food was. My husband ordered the BBQ ribs, along with beans and mashed potatoes, and they were incredibly tasty. I opted for the chicken salad, which was good too. However, I would like to mention to the salad makers that there was a bit too much of the tough core of the lettuce that wasn't edible. Overall, I would definitely stop here again if this place were along our route, and I'm eager to try more items from the menu.
