We stopped here on a rainy Saturday afternoon during our stay at North Bend State Park. It was within close proximity to our location and pretty easy to find. While we were just looking for something to eat, we were pleasantly surprised with how much we enjoyed our visit to Pizza House Family Restaurant. Our server was kind, attentive and she even engaged with my 3 year old! The food was really good also! We had a cheese pizza, beer battered French fries and pizza sticks. Don't leave without grabbing some cookies (we liked the Iced Oatmeal Raisin the White Chocolate Macadamia Nut). It was the exact welcoming, cozy, country vibe we are used to experiencing in West Virginia, and I'm glad we decided to stop. We made it a point that if we are ever in this area again, we will definitely be coming back here.
They used to have a wonderful grilled chicken and pineapple salad today it was awful! It was a regular side salad with some chicken and tiny pieces of pineapple thrown on top and some strange tasting red seasoning. My husband said his side salad tasted weird, his spaghetti was undercooked and the garlic bread was like chewing bubble gum. He NEVER complains about food but said he'll never go back. They were pretty busy so our food took a long time and it was like a freezer in there (and I don't get cold often). Sorry, but that's my review.
