Haymaker Bbq - Harrogate

The food was average. The BBQ sandwich arrived completely without sauce. There were three sauce options: sweet, spicy, and very spicy. The baked beans were excessively spicy. Also, be aware that if you order hush puppies with your meal, you won't receive a bun for your meat. The shredded meat just comes piled on your tray with no sauce.

I visited this restaurant two weeks ago while on vacation, and the food was absolutely incredible—so tender it practically fell off the bone. I highly recommend that everyone stop by and try their dishes. You'll definitely want to come back, just like I will!

Service was excellent. The workers were very friendly. The actual food was surprisingly bad. The brisket was incredibly dry and had no flavor. The ‘extra hot’ barbecue sauce had no spiciness. My six year old who can’t tolerate heat even noted how sweet and sugary the “hot” barbecue sauce was. The Mac and cheese tasted like Wawa gas station mac. Even the French fries were poorly cooked. Overall, very disappointing. You’re better off with a frozen meal.

Good TN BBQ! Got the pulled chicken, burnt ends, baked beans, fries, mac and cheese and cat fish! All pretty good… but the fish was amazing! Prices are pretty good for the meals!

The staff was very friendly. We had pulled pork and pulled chicken. The bakea beans were awes9me along with the cole slaw and sweet potato fries. Everything was fresh and tasty. The barbeque sauce was very good. I mixed spicey and sweet and it was wonderful! Don't miss this BBQ. It's a great find in Harrogate!
