This restaurant is exceptional in every aspect. The ambiance is beautiful, the service is impeccable, and the food is absolutely divine. I highly recommend it.
The only good thing about the restaurant was the location and the grandeur of Swinton Park. Although the food was good but we were incredibly let down by the service, scruffy unknowledgeable staff, and the general couldn 't care less attitude which spoilt a rather special birthday celebration. Our bill was calculated wrongly and although this was put right, we waited 30 minutes to get the bill and were left in the dining room (the only diners in there) for well over 40 minutes after our desserts without being asked if we wanted any teas/coffees. Definitely a case of out of sight out of mind . When we asked how the beef was served the response was it comes with potatoes !! Very very disappointed.
Our experience was lovely and relaxing; afternoon tea on the terrace.
This high-end restaurant located in a grand stately home offers top-notch professional service at the reception, in the bar, and in the stunning restaurant. The Sunday Lunch we enjoyed was the best we've had in a long time and was also very reasonably priced. Despite not finding our Open Table booking, which was a minor inconvenience, the restaurant surprisingly wasn't busy so we were still able to enjoy our meal without any issues.
