Having served customers for 26 years, the restaurant boasts a renovated interior adorned with Italian products on the walls and Italian flags in the windows. The menu features a variety of dishes such as lamb kidneys priced at £10, avocado with mozzarella and tomato for £6, black pepper chicken for £16, and pasta dishes ranging from £10-12. While the prices may be a bit high, the quality of the ingredients used in the kitchen makes it worth it. Pizzas are around £10 with the famous salami being a must-try. Additionally, between 5 and 7 in the evening, there is a set menu for £12 including a starter and a choice of chicken, pasta, or pizza for the main course.
Regrettably, this restaurant is extremely expensive. Despite their 'buy one get one free' promotions and free wine and main course for groups of four, the quality of the food is questionable. The serving sizes are small and the dishes are simple, yet the prices are sky-high. We experienced poor service and were treated poorly by the owner, who included a £10 service charge on our bill despite it being listed as 'optional' on the menu. Even with the discounts, it was not a satisfying experience. We left hungry and have no intentions of going back.
The restaurant is extremely expensive. Despite displaying multiple buy one get one free deals in the windows and providing a complimentary bottle of wine and main course for every group of four, the prices are unjustifiably high. The serving sizes are small, and the food is basic given the exorbitant prices. We received subpar service and were poorly treated by the owner when we asked about the mandatory service charge added to the bill, which was not stated as optional on the menu. Even with the promotions, the experience was not worthwhile. We left unsatisfied and do not plan on returning.
