Costa Coffee Within Next - Harrogate

Located on the upper level of Next, the Costa Coffee in Knaresborough is a stylish cafe that offers all the expected amenities of the chain, including quality coffee and a variety of snacks. The service during our visit was slightly slow, but this is understandable given the current staff shortages. Overall, I will give them the benefit of the doubt.

We arrived at the restaurant and waited. And waited. And waited. After one person was finally served, we decided to leave as there was no acknowledgment from the clearly understaffed staff. It didn't seem like we would ever be served, so we cut our losses and left. That's all there is to say, except good luck if you decide to go. Next!

Car parking camera system is a nightmare. The retail park allows 3 hour parking which is fine but has a no return policy even if you nip in and out. So if you call in to get an item (15 mins) then leave and return again for perhaps a coffee within an hour for another short visit there is a £100 fine. Total tune in car park was 24 minutes. Cost £100. AVOID this retail park.

Excellent service and good staff attitude to each other and customers. Breakfast was lovely porridge and wrap.

We use Costa all over the UK. Unfortunately this experience was terrible. As we queued for coffee and cake Tom was on duty, taking the orders BUT, all that you could hear whilst queuing was Hello darling , Yes Sweetheart , What can I get you pet Cakes with that in a BOOMING VOICE that while your sat trying to enjoy a really good coffee, and cake.
