Old Spring Well Harrogate

We had a nice meal here with friends. While definitely more of a restaurant than a pub, it’s quite quiet and cosy. We arrived a bit late but they kept the kitchen open for us. Nice touch. The food came quickly. They have a rotisserie for chickens and I had the chicken tikka masala which was really tasty and tender. My wife had half a chicken which was dry unfortunately. I’d go back though as it’s a kid friendly, family gastro pub and worth a visit.

As a disabled person having to use a 'walker ' and use it as a raised seat I found the entrance and wide room seating to be excellent. The prawn starter was as good as the best I have had. The duck breast and confit leg were superb and very well cooked and tender. The coffee was as good as it gets, fresh ground and very aromatic. My wife had the fish and chips which was lovely and crisp with very tasty sides. As good as some Michelin Star places I have been

We booked on Sunday to celebrate Father’s Day and had a lovely time with my son and his wife at the Curious Cow. From the ease of booking online, right through to actually eating there, everything was easy and lovely. Food was absolutely scrumptious and the staff were so kind. We asked if we could dine outside because it was such a beautiful evening and our table was set with no trouble, even though we didn’t realise that table service dining was usually inside. We were welcomed and served with efficiency, friendliness and again, ease. I highly recommend the food, the staff and the whole experience. We will be back. Many thanks

5* I’ve been last night with my husband and we really enjoyed the pizza, was absolutely delicious. The staff was really friendly, Angelo looked after us and he helped us to decide. We definitely gonna come back. Thank you

Lovely staff, friendly welcoming and clearly putting lots of effort into looking after their guests. Menus are easy to read, with calorie counts for each dish!! (Handy)! Really nice desserts with a bit of theatre when presented! Good wine and cocktail list too and a nice gin selection, love the Malfi Rosa gin. It’s not cheap but dining in the conservatory is a really nice experience and you were well looked after. We will definitely come back again. Thank you and good luck.
