Queens Head Inn - Harrogate

Amazing! I almost hesitate to write a review because this place is such a hidden gem. It's a charming, traditional country house that will warm your heart! It has an authentic feel, so it's not like those glossy, plastic gastro pub chains. If you take a moment to appreciate it, you'll see that this place is truly a diamond. The food and drinks were fantastic! I had the best steak and ale pie I've ever tasted! The rooms were comfortable and immaculate! I wish the family all the success in the world and hope that great places like this continue to thrive, rather than falling victim to those awful chain restaurants!

This restaurant is a fantastic place to dine. The cattle steak pie is absolutely amazing, and the lamb steaks are cooked to perfection. I also enjoyed a generous portion of salmon, which was delightful. The value for money is excellent. I appreciate that the staff are attentive to food intolerances and were able to accommodate my dietary needs. The friendly service and the roaring log fire added to the warm atmosphere. I only wish we lived closer so we could visit again. Thank you! Lou

After reading the reviews on TripAdvisor, we were excited about our overnight stay, and we were not disappointed! The room was clean and well-kept, with plenty of tea and coffee provided, and the bed was very comfortable. In the evening, we enjoyed a delicious steak and ale pie at the bar—wow! In the morning, we were treated to a lovely cooked breakfast that fueled us for the day. Louise and her staff were incredibly kind and attentive. What a gem of a place this is! We'll definitely be returning.

This was our fourth visit and we were not disappointed. No matter what we choose on the menu, it is always delicious. Customer service is amazing and they cannot do enough to ensure that you are well looked after. The owner and her family go above and beyond what you would normally hope for when you go out for a family meal. I cannot recommend 'The Queens Head ' highly enough. Looking forward to our next visit!
