Lovely food nice and clean .d Downside felt rushed so would have spent a lot more if they let us have more time to look .We asked them to serve others s while looking .only three of us in the shop at the time .Also wouldn’t add a little tomato to a ham roll . Maybe not made on premises.

Just back from York and this is the best bakers ever. Brought back so many different things, think they should open a branch in Edinburgh

Great for take away food as it's situated on the market square with nearby seating. Food is excellent and cheap. Particularly like their Sausage Wrap and their Yorkshire Curd Tarts. But their bread is good and the cakes excellent. Low prices too.

Excellent bun cross over between scone and bread tasty, lovely orange on top. Better than a well known Yorkshire tea room similar product but better in my opinion. Would definitely buy again.

Bread, buns and bacon wraps, they're all here and once you catch the warm aroma of anything fresh out of the oven you're not going anywhere
