Taste Of China - HARROW

We have tried almost every Chinese takeaway in the area, but this one is our favorite. The menu may be inconsistent, but once you find the standout dishes, they are excellent. We highly recommend their salt and pepper dishes and the sweet chili mock chicken.

I have been loyal customer for 6 years but the order I have received today .. I am speechless. It's been going down the heel , but mu order that I placed today was .ets just say I am polish and I can maje better Chinese myself .I have ordered mushrooms chow main , there was half a mushroom only.I have also ordered chicken how main , it consistet mayhe 1/2 of chicken wing where the meat was pulled out of the boje that was cooked in the broth for hours I have also ordered smoked chicken ,it was dark and dry and cold and tasted like something out if the rubbish bag.I have also ordered shredded beed and It wasn't even beef. I have been ordering the same food for years and I can definitely tell the difference between how food tasted three years ago and how it tastes now.Will never ordered again

Everytime we have ordered from here we have specifically specified over and over and over again we are pure veg and don’t add egg. We’re a pure veg religious family. They continue to add to our dishes and are quite rude on the phone when we tell them. Definitely not ordering from here again.

We looked for a new Chinese Takeaway as the one we were using went downhill. After a brief research, we came across Taste of China. So glad we tried this take- away !! The food was deeeeeeelicious !!! It was warm and tasty. The staff were friendly and we received some fortune cookies and cans of complimentary drinks which was a lovely touch. We will definitely be back again. Thank you Taste of China.

Having ordered for many years from a place in Ruislip that closed down during covid, we struggled to find a decent Chinese. We phoned to order a delivery and unfortunately they didn’t deliver but no issues, we’d go and collect instead. We ordered 1 1/2 ducks, a shedload of dishes and it came to £119 for 8 of us which was super reasonable. Upon arriving at the takeout shop it’s always reassuring to see it busy which it was! We paid swiftly, the owner had thrown in a bottle of Coke and extra prawn crackers which was a lovely touch too! On our journey home we got a phone call from the restaurant. It turns out they had an extra box of duck in the shop and couldn’t work out which order it was from; they feared it was from ours. We returned home and checked, we were missing an entire box of duck. Not wanting to make the journey back to collect it, we opted to simply ask for a refund. They did however offer to deliver the missing duck to us, when we weren’t in their delivery area! This was most certainly above and beyond! Much to our amazement when it turned up, the owner delivered the food himself and he also gave us a box of chocolates to say sorry! It goes without saying we just found our new Chinese takeaway. Not only incredible service but the food was also amazing, every dish was perfect. We will definitely be back!!
