Found this place on yelp and was in love with the menu so we had to try it out. Y'all my husband is still talking about the corn bread! I loved the shrimp and grits and will be back soon for more !!! And the art inside is just amazing See yall next weekend for DMB weekend we can't wait!

We came to Sally’s for brunch and it didn’t disappoint. The catfish with grits was so good. The staff was friendly, the food was good and the music they played in the restaurant was also great. Definitely would go back.

The Most Satisfying meal I've had in Hartford CT. I came in here thinking it was the bar next door but I wasn't exactly sure what I was in the mood for. I looked through their menu and settled on the 2 piece chicken lunch special. The collard greens were some of the best I've had around the country, the Mac and cheese was very creamy and cheesy and the Chicken was perfect and seasoned in a fish fry spiced kind of breading. I am glad I only got 2 pieces as anymore would have been bad in that I wouldn't have stopped cause it was so good. If your in this area come in to this place and if your thinking of getting the chicken Do it it's delicious...

Delicious food with a great atmosphere. We were walk-ins so had to wait a bit for a table inside, but there was a band playing live music so the atmosphere during the wait was upbeat and lively. Service was a bit strained and the bar understaffed, so drinks took a long time to arrive once ordered and turned up after we finished our starters -1* , but the food was excellent. Absolutely delicious gumbo to start and 1/2 rack o' ribs to follow with a tasty slaw, rice beans. The Mac cheese side is also the best I've had while out in the US.. possibly because it tastes like it actually has real cheese in it and had a nice crispy top.

Tastes like a hug from Mom! The food was absolutely delicious — the cheddar grits were so good we had to being extra home! The buttermilk ranch sauce that came with the fried green tomatoes was sinfully good. Our waitress Sierra was great and so friendly. You really can’t go wrong here!
