Franklin Giant Sandwich Shop - Hartford

My favorite pizza comes from Tony's Pizza in NYC, but when I'm in Connecticut, this is the place to be. I wouldn't go anywhere else! The pizza here is amazing, and the staff is very friendly.

I ordered a roast beef grinder, and it was massive! When I got it home, I weighed this behemoth, and it turned out to be 3 pounds and 11 ounces of roast beef! No one else does it quite like Franklin Giant.

I grew up on King Philip Drive in West Hartford and have been going to this restaurant for years. Now living in Florida, I really miss the pizza and grinders from Connecticut.

Have to stop every time we are in the area. It’s too good to not.

Don't know bout anybody else but yours truly had an exciting time at the grinder shop yesterday. Just might go there again today.
