Love my wood bar q ribs. Food was great. We sat at the bar and enjoyed convo with the bar tender which I admired. She can move and be so sweet and kind. Will definitely return.
Good spot, great beers, no food but you can bring in doordash
First time visiting Pigs Eye Pub. The selection of music was awesome with the perfect amount of volume to hear your conversation. The bartenders are remarkable and the drinks are on point. Wide range of tequilas.
Tom was welcoming and attentive despite the full bar. He was extremely respectful and handled every situation, positive or difficult, with grace and empathy. He supported the other bartender on duty (Vanessa, who did the same) while maintaining a sense of safety and mature control over the crowd that was steady through our stay. Pig's eye is a staple in the Hartford community, but they are definitely lucky to have the team they had tonight. Cheers to Tom and Vanessa!
October 1st, 10pm. Bartender in a black top was kind of a b when my friend ordered an old fashioned and she asked what kind and he didn’t have an answer ready. “You should know your order before coming up here.” Like… just make him an old fashioned, damn lol. Also I ordered a strawberry lemon daiquiri and pointed to the sign and she gave me iced spiked lemonade. Might as well have poured me half a can of fishers island lemonade. I asked why it’s not blended nor pink and she assured me it was correct…. And charged a svc charge of $1.50. It was mostly ice and I finished it before my next friend even got to order hers. My other friend was waiting 5 minutes at the bar to order her drink while the same bartender that JUST took our orders flirted with some guys sitting next to us. The other girl with the white top was super nice and efficient though and made daiquiris the right way.
