To our surprise the customer service was horrible and they messed up my coffee three times in a row. Of course we remained civil and kind to the employees because our mothers raised us that way. Maybe it was our appearance of urban clothes, regardless, one should always be mindful of others feelings and maintain manners especially in a place of work.
Friendly service. Lovely location. Yes, parking is an issue, but it is for anybody in downtown. That?s an unreal expectation. However, having half-and-half is a realistic expectation for a Starbucks... and they did not.
Friendly service and great atmosphere! Although it's in a Barnes Noble bookstore for UConn, it appears to have its own sectioned-off atmosphere. I quite like it. Will come visit again! Vanilla almond milk cold brew shown here.
This location is primarily accessible to UConn Hartford, and corporate offices nearby. Location is kept clean and the the staff is generally friendly most of the time. The staffing model I observed on a Tuesday at 2:30pm was only 2 employees: 1 at the register and 1 making drinks. I waited 13 minutes for my iced coffee. Rarely is a busy Starbucks staffed with only 2 employees on what I would call during primetime hours (2pm coffee). No management in sight.
This is a Starbucks, so it is exactly what you expect. Except, no nitro cold Brew. Sometimes no cold Brew period. Worse; they don't allow mobile ordering, they do allow you to pay with the app though. The no-mobile-ordering is a big bummer because they are super slow. If you go when it's not a morning or lunch time rush, it's fine, but otherwise... Plan on waiting in line and for your drink for 15 minutes or so.
