Tally Ho Tavern - Hartford

The server was fantastic, but the food was just average. I might need to return and try something besides the fish fry.

Upon entering, we were told that the kitchen might not serve us because they were closing. When I asked what time they stopped serving food, the bartender responded that it was 9:00 PM. I pointed out that it was only ten minutes until then. After checking with the kitchen, the bartender returned and informed our group that they would not be able to serve us. That experience left a lasting impression, and we haven’t returned since. This occurred in June 2018.

When you can't even make a decent taco, it deserves just one star. The restaurant was great when the new owners first took over, but after they changed cooks, it's back to its old, disappointing self!

We visited for lunch and it was our first time at this restaurant. The Holy Burger was incredibly juicy and cooked to perfection, and the service was outstanding. We will definitely be coming back!
