Growing up, my parents had this place as a hidden gem to us and we'd come on special occasions. It's a fond spot for our family as we've done graduations,...
Great date night. We had 2 cups of chowder and the lazy lobster and lazy crab with seafood stuffing, everything was great and no picking at shells. The restaurant was clean and our waitress was friendly and quick.
This was the first time we'd been back to the CP since before COVID hit. We always have fun and always have the poppy john shrimp (our favorite). Every single time, and I don't know why, I have to send it back because the bacon is still raw on one side of each shrimp. The manhattans we had were tiny and not worth the money. The martini glasses you use are the smallest I've ever seen and really should be replaced by a generous glass. Our waitress was a doll. We loved her. I think it was not her fault but it took forever to get the bill and get out which was somewhat annoying. I should mention that the two times before we had a different woman who acted like we were doing her a favor being there. She was a terrible waitress and we thought did not represent the restaurant the way you would want to see from a forward facing employee. Her attitude took away from the always great time we have while there.
