Welcome Chinese - Hartlepool

I really enjoy the king prawn, chicken, and green pepper chow mein - I order it often. I also love the spicy honey crispy chicken with rice - I order that a lot too, haha.

I have tried this Chinese restaurant three times now. The food is excellent, the delivery is prompt and hot, and the telephone service is great. The overall service is excellent and I really enjoyed my meal. I have made this restaurant my go-to choice and even when my usual one was closed, I was glad that I tried this one instead.

The customer service at this restaurant is absolutely disgraceful. They forgot one of the items in my delivery order and when I called to ask about it, they said they would send it out. However, one hour later I was still waiting for the item to be delivered. When I called back, the staff answered very impolitely and with a terrible attitude. If you order from this takeaway on Just Eat, please be aware that if they do not send all the items you ordered, you may not get them redelivered. I tried to make the point that if I didn't have enough money to pay for a meal, they wouldn't send it, so as a customer who has already paid, I should receive all the items I paid for.

Our usual Chinese was closed last night so we tried here instead. We got honey chilli chicken, special curry and special fried rice with noodles and chips. It arrived within 25 minutes and all tasted lovely and fresh. The only issue was the curry was a little too thick could do with it being more saucey. Will definitely be returning here.

Where do I start our order turned up cold and food missing phoned the shop to be told they will replace the order and give only £5 off for the mistake food replaced no £5 refund tried to ring the shop they put the phone down on me twice and the ignored my calls so had to drive down there. They then said they didn’t say about having five pound off never ever would I order from here again the food really was poor and the staff were even worse apart from the delivery driver she was lovely
