Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Not the country home cooking I remember. This server was real friendly but my expectations must've just been too high

We enjoyed our breakfast at the Hartselle, Al. Restaurant Monday morning

Couldn’t ask for a more accessible place to eat that includes such a wonderful staff. The food was delicious and Brenda our server made sure the coffee cups and tea glasses were filled. My four vegetable plate was so good I wish I could have eaten two of them. The restaurant is clean as is the parking lot. Kudos to the staff at the Hartselle Cracker Barrel.

Always an incredible experience at Cracker Barrel. Pleasant and speedy service and delicious food. I personally love the blueberry pancakes! Very clean bathrooms. Wonderful service in the gift shop as well. Everyone was very friendly and made our visit feel like home.

Three in our party, 2 of the 3 meals were very much enjoyed 1 of the 3 meals was mildly warm, the fresh onion not so fresh, the bread mildly warm. The waitress was either inexperienced or not aware that her work at Cracker Barrel was to assist the cooking staff in giving the patrons an opportunity for an enjoyable meal experience. The highlight of the day was the cashier. He was very friendly had a smile, was sincere in inquiring about our meal satisfaction and offering to give alternatives so that this dining experience could be some what redeemed. The tender and sincere care for the patron"s good dining experience seemed to be a reflection of a person of nobel character.Vegetarian options: The beans and greens should have a vegetarian option to not being seasoned with meat. If an onion is ordered or given as part of the meal experience it should be fresh.
