Don’t waste your time or money. The food is not good. We’ve been twice and each time we left disappointed. We figured we’d give it another try since some friends of ours wanted to try it. Mistake. Texas Roadhouse has a much better steak and ribs. The ribs were tough, no taste hardly. My husband ordered the grilled chicken and it had been reheated. We all know what reheated chicken tastes like. Our friends were very disappointed as well. To top it off, we had some snitches go whine to the employees. Yes, we were loud but the place is nothing more than a bar with food AND very loud music, so what would one expect when alcohol is served. No we were not even drinking, just good clean LOUD fun. After the snitches whined, the waitress was not as friendly as before and was, in fact, arrogant and rude. If you want extra rolls, be prepared to pay extra. I asked for more because the food sucked and that was the only thing that was somewhat good besides the salad. I ate them there and was charged for rolls “to go.” Also, they charge more than the average business for using a card to pay. A half rack of ribs, a chicken sandwich and an appetizer and those “to go” croissants cost us almost $80. Never again! Shugs will never get another dime from my family! Do yourself a favor and go to Texas Roadhouse instead. Much better food and much cheaper. The best part of our experience at Shugs was the fellowship with our friends! Shugs brought nothing great to the table, literally!
