Lucky Star - Hartville

Ordered online which was very convenient so the husband could pick up on his way out of the area. Sadly the food was overall bad. The eggrolls had little filling and so much wrapper that it was undercooked on the inside. The red sauce had an odd flavor. The General Tso's was super dark-almost burnt, very thick, chicken was hard to chew and the flavor was just odd... like a throwback to leftovers at your great-grandmas old musty house... The shining star was that my husband was happy with the Crab Rangoon- said they were very good. The staff treated him well enough and the place was not the worst he has walked into so a few extra points for those aspects. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Well here it is My mother ordered combination fried rice and there was hardly any shrimp, chicken or pork in it, the rice was definitely not fried and the vegetables were hard. No disrespect to the kitchen staff whatsoever. You can tell from the moment you walk in that they are doing their best. The food is normally average and the wait is not normally ridiculous. Today however, is a different story. I called in to order my food and the kid who answered asked the same questions multiple times. He told me it would be a 20 minute wait. I came in after 20 mins and had to wait in line another 20. Once I got to the front, he picked up my order and asked the SAME questions!!! He had gotten it wrong but it didn’t matter bc no one started working on my food yet I understand that they were super busy but at least let me know I will be waiting for AT LEAST an hour instead of telling me it’ll be 20 minutes. Super disappointed. The only reason I gave it 3 stars was bc of the 3 hard workers who were behind this incompetent cashier.
