The food is unpleasant, and I witnessed the cook go straight from the restroom to the kitchen without washing their hands before handling the coleslaw. The hygiene practices are alarming, and they reuse the same grease for both fish and pork chops. Everything is served at the wrong temperature, which raises serious concerns about food safety—I worry someone could get food poisoning. They claim to offer a buffet, but it falls short of that promise. The new owner and staff really need to learn how to treat their customers and employees better. It's disheartening to see such disregard for proper standards and service.
I was very disappointed with the taste of the food, and I was also displeased with how the new owners treat their employees. Additionally, if you have a service dog, they ask you to eat outside, which is against ADA laws in Georgia. I cannot promote or recommend this restaurant—the food is unappetizing. I wish Tammy and Karen were back as owners.
New Review: I am extremely disappointed with the new owners. I can no longer recommend this restaurant, as both the menu and the owners' attitude towards customers have changed. Karen and Tammy worked hard to make KnotHeads one of the best eateries in Hartwell, and they will be greatly missed.
Knotheads is a refreshing change to the Hartwell, GA, food scene ! The food is delicious, the staff bends over backwards to make sure you have everything you want and their menu changes around so you can try new meals. they offer a buffet, an outside dining patio and a bar, if you're so inclined. Thanks to Karen Tammy for bringing new flavors to Hartwell !
Good local diner. Good portion sizes. Everyone liked their food . The tea was good. The ketchup bottle had been refilled a million times. Either buy new ketchup regularly or get the red squirt bottles and be done with it. *edit* also, instead of that homemade steak sauce, get A1. I like A1 on my hamburger.Vegetarian options: I think if you 're vegetarian you should just fine a local pasture and start grazing.
