Rustic Café - Haskell

We had the best waitress ever and the food was hot and tasty. Will eat there from now on when we are in Haskell !

This is by far the cleanest Kent store I have ever been to, inside and out. No overflowing trash cans outside. The counters at the fountain and drinks area were spotless. Being an OTR driver, cleanliness is important to me. This store exceeded all expectations.

Did not use Rustic Cafe however use the convenience store next to it.Seems like their water to clean their windshield always smells and dirty feel sorry for travelers can't even get the windshields pain when you gas up.

My husband got very little mayo on his burger and he said it was not good. I love vinaigrette salad dressing and that wasn't an option. I just wanted a balsamic and they had the usual Italian, thousand island, and ranch. The lettuce tasted like dirt so I only ate the bacon and ham off if it. My daughter got a chicken fried steak and said it was one of the best she has had. My son got chicken stripes and liked them. That's why they got 3 stars because half our family liked the food. Probably wouldn't go back.

My husband and I were traveling from Wharton, Tx to Arizona. We stopped in Haskell at the Rustic Cafe for breafast mainly because it was the only restaurant open on Sunday morning. Although it was rated only 3.7, our breakfast pancakes, scrambled eggs, and ham steak were very good. Our waitress was friendly,the service was efficient, and the bathroom in the restaurant was clean. I feel that Rustic Cafe should be rated much higher.
