State Street Diner - Hastings

We visited the family in hastings and had dinner here in our first night in the city. there is a large selection on the menu and I understand that breakfast is served at any time. the dinner was great with our party of seven. the waitress was on the spot all night and managed to bring all the meal together with a member of our party quite late. the breakfast was an omelet and hash brown with orange juice. when I was from florida and my fair share of abi, it tasted freshly squeezed, although I did not ask how it was made. the waiting staff was just as courtesy as the evening. highly recommended.

The restaurant was quite busy, but I was served promptly. My waitress was very attentive. They offer a wide variety of tasty comfort food options. The best part is that they serve breakfast all day. I ordered two eggs, toast, and a side of bacon, which was absolutely delicious. They also offer hand-dipped milkshakes served in tall glasses. From what I observed, the kitchen maintains a top-notch quality for all their dishes. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Fantastic service every time I eat, is the almost weekly if not several times a week! julie floormuller and lee campbell are the 2 chef managers super! julie, I have posted now, you can't get me! lol. my great friend also works there! my breakfast items are a Belgian waffle, no stromzucker, rührei and 2 sausage links! also a large white milk and coffee!

Good hometown feels like enjoying some breakfast. our waitress was so funny and engaged! one must be over if they need a good meal for a reasonable price.

Originally I gave 3.5 -4 stars but today was our second of many family breakfast trips here and I'm bumping it up to 5 stars .. as a local tour guide with over 200k views we review honestly and recant reviews as business imporves and declined . Today we had a much nicer server and the food was fresher and filled often at the buffet. The quality of food for buffet is awesome , and as a family of 4 it makes it easy for us all to eat for a reasonable price . The food is cooked to perfection and always hot . We haven't tried the menu items yet so our review is based on friendliness and the buffet and pricing .. highly recommend like I said it's our weekend breakfast place
