Macs Fish Supply - Hastings

I went in at about 6pm and placed my order. Service was super quick znd friendly. The kumara chips were perfect not at all soggy, and not overcooked and dry. The hot dogs were cooked well, with nice, crisp batter (although I do wish takeaway places would go back to battered sausages, which I much prefer to battered saveloys just a personal preference). The fish was tasty, although the battered fillets fell apart as I tried to lift them out of the paper, and the battered stuck to the chips, which was a bit messy. The spud chips looked nice, but I didn 't try them (allergies). As for 'atmosphere ', it 's what you 'd expect from a fish chippy, with a few seats to sit on while you wait. It was very clean. Plenty of nearby parking on the road. I 'd go back.

Great fish and chips, one of the best in the world I've had. The chips were top notch and the crummed gurna fish was spectacular and tasted fresh. 10/10

Taste fantastic. Oysters tasty, very fresh, with light crispy batter perfect. Chips same. Only hitch I ordered 8 oysters, and was at least 2 short, rang shop, and owner offered two free ones now or next order.
