Hastings Fish Chip Shop

The chips are exactly how they should be. I grew up on the south coast and later moved to London, where finding good chips is a challenge unless I return to the seaside. The prices are reasonable, and the portion sizes are very satisfying. I will definitely be coming back here!

The food was fantastic and freshly prepared, and the service provided by Rylan was outstanding. He was welcoming and extremely helpful. Our visit to Hastings was made special thanks to this experience.

This might be the best fish and chips in Hastings. The fish is consistently moist and fresh, setting it apart from other places. I also appreciate that the warming shelf has options like fish, battered sausage, or saveloy available. You don’t have to worry about burnt kebabs or a flaming wok here. It’s just a good old-fashioned fish and chip shop, and they even serve scraps!

We had a wonderful experience here, both with the food and the staff. My mother in law and sister in law were both visiting from the states. My mum in law is 86yrs and uses a wheelchair. The young man (Zack) was so helpful getting her into the place and sitting her down, also helping her out after. She even got a hug!! Both he and the young lady there made a visit funny and so welcoming! This is by far the best chippy in Hastings!

Had Cod, Chips Mushy Peas with a cup of Tea for just over a tenner. Good value, quick service friendly staff. Very nice.
