Old Town Fish - Hastings

Good value and decent food with swift friendly service. Well recommended. For these times the prices were very reasonable.

Had a walk around the old town decided to give the restaurant a go ate in ere ten years ago it was always buzzing with tourists went in today first thing I noticed there was no atmosphere it was depressing the fish and chips ten years ago was spot on the fish today was bland couldn't identify any flavour ordered Haddock and chips with curry sauce and a can of Apple tango the bill came to £12 the pricing of the menu is spot on its just the fish was so bland it's disappointing because Hastings is a fishing town the fish should be bang on I would give it a 6 out of 10 max like I say we're in a fishing town eating mediocre haddock disappointing.

Literally the best fish and chips we have had, we travel an hour to have our dinner here, crispy battered fish, flaky and meaty. The chips taste awesome. And such good value for money

Visited today for take away order, was extremely busy for May Day, didn’t wait long to be served, food was done quickly (kids nuggets) the staff member was polite and was happy to help.odd really enjoyed their food, would go back when we visit again.

Great service, fab food and warm. Very well priced too. We had chips, cod and salad, all of which were great.
