When I called the store with a question, her attitude was dismissive, and she didn’t crack a smile at all – it was so uninviting that it made my stomach turn. I told my husband I didn't want to buy anything, especially since he didn’t have $70 to spend on baked goods. After that conversation, she claimed she was nice, but it was clear she hadn’t spoken to us. This was a disappointing experience, and I won’t be returning to a business that comes so highly recommended. I’ll stick to my local Italian bakeries back home.
The display cases are filled with gorgeous pastries and cakes. This is not just a bakery; these are skilled artisans at work.
The display cases are filled with beautiful pastries and cakes. Not the bakery. True craftsmen
It was when I went to a bakery when I was young. The pastries were wonderful, cake was the best I had for years. And my grandson said, “No, these cookies are as good as you.” High praise
I called the store afterwards to inquire about the service, but the owner remained dismissive and didn't even crack a smile—her coldness was unsettling. I told my husband that I no longer wanted anything from the bakery, especially since he didn't have $70 to spend on baked goods. After our conversation, she insisted that she was nice, but it was clear she wasn't speaking about us. It was a disappointing experience, and I won't be returning to a place that came highly recommended. I'll stick to my favorite Italian bakeries in Brooklyn.
