Birdhouse Cafe - Hattiesburg

Overall was a strange experience. it is a strange interior design shop with a caffe inside? and looks nothing like the pictures on instagram. the most disappointing thing was paying 9$ for a smoothie that tasted as if it were from rotten fruits and protein powder from Sam?s club. that's a lot of money for a smoothie that's not so great. I could have gone from usm to main squeeze to have a much higher quality experience for the same price. don't get me wrong, would like to support a local business, especially a local business with healthy alternatives. but it stinks when they are overloaded for something that is sub par. main squeeze does the same thing for the same price to a much better quality and I will go there for all my smoothie and smoothie bowl needs. it also does not seem fair to have performed something as latte if it is only cold brews and milk. that's just wrong advertising. I can't testify to the rest of the menu, but rather not try because there are other places I trust more.

This is a great place to get away! If you're looking for something else, maybe even something more eccentric is the place. I order every time I go. The ingredients are always fresh and the flavors are fantastic. I definitely recommend.

We were thrilled to have a place with great options from vegan food etc. The food was very disappointing. The staff was strange and one of the ladies seemed high or simply not all there. The zucchini noodles were good. The sandwich was one of the worst sandwich I've ever had, and the meat quality was embarrassing. I was frustrated that we had bought extra food for our friends because the quality sucks. The tomato soup was warm down, ice cold in the middle and hot on the top??? It was packed separately from everything else, as the attempt was so crisp I have no idea, but I did not eat it because I am not in the process of getting food poisoning. Will not come back or recommend this place.

I ended up finding this place on one of the travel sites for Hattiesburg. I looked at the menu and figured I'd give it a try while I was in town. I highly recommend everyone to check this little cafe out. They had the best chocolate zucchini muffins I've ever had and their smoothie bowls were excellent. My friend ended up getting a wrap and it turned out pretty good. It's not your typical cafe, since this little spot is hidden in a furniture store, but it's cozy. Keep your eyes open though because you'll definitely miss the driveway at least once if you aren't paying attention.

The best place in Hattiesburg. The energy of the staff is something else!! The food is amazing, I wanted to try everything. I ordered açaí Bowl one day and it was Delicious. My daughter loved it too. The owner is beautiful inside and out and has a lot of energy and talent. I had a great time and look forward to going back.
