Oishi Hibachi Sushi - Hattiesburg

Great service and delicious food! As a first-time customer, I was thoroughly impressed. I will definitely be returning!

The food was delicious and abundant. Our waiter was fantastic! He was humorous, courteous, and very helpful. He even surprised our 9-year-old daughter with a complimentary special drink from Japan. Although the building is old and somewhat outdated, the quality of the food and service more than made up for it. Plus, it was very affordable!

The hibachi steak is delicious. The pan seared gyoza are amazing!

Overall, my priority was my mother’s happiness, and she certainly had a wonderful time. She nearly beamed when the restaurant surprised her with a chocolate-drizzled cheesecake for dessert, complete with the staff singing to her. It was a delightful day for her, and I couldn’t ask for more. While the food didn’t satisfy me, it did for my mother, who deserves nothing less than the best. Thank you, Oishi, for making her day special!

I stopped in here as I was passing through Hattiesburg. This place was a delight from the moment I stepped inside. They are all practicing safe distancing and proper 'Rona protocol. I was seated quickly although there was a brief wait, they were very impressive the way they were rotating their guests in and out. I ordered a lunch box with shrimp and a spicy tuna roll. Everything was really good. This is another example of where half stars are needed. This place is a solid4.5... Solid! Most people don 't realize it 's very rare for a true 5 star place. This place is very close. All the staff were very friendly.. I will make my way back to this jewel in Hattiesburg.
