Zur Alten Post - Hattingen

Last Sunday we went out to eat. this time we visited the restaurant "to the old post", which exists since 1890. here we expected a cozy atmosphere. for celebration this restaurant has a large hall. After a short time we were taken the menus and looked for three different dishes. the friendly staff then asked what we wanted to eat. we chose three different meat dishes. the foods were very good to us. after that there was as dessert vanilla ice cream with warm plums and saw, mmmh.

This restaurant located in a historical building offers its guests in a nice atmosphere tasty dishes to cheap trips. nice and friendly services round off the positive impression.

The restaurant / restaurant has a hall and a conescent railway, in the summer beer garden behind the house. lies directly on main road with tram traffic. ambiente typical older restaurant without special flair. suitable for larger groups. that eat mainly simple carving dishes and typical grill plates, suppen. the carving with bratkartoffeln was ok, at my grill plate the meat was unfortunately totally fried and very dry, the pommes consisted to half of short rests, knüppelhart and not to eat. the side salad was fresh and okay. service quite flott, we waited for about 30 minutes. the quality thus fluctuates, altogether nix special. is enough to eat after the cone evening or for a meeting, nix for cozy eating too two.

Also with the good certificate an always welcome guest. delicious food is here, service always good. with our previous visits for years the quality is always constant. here is also cooked gluten-free, which I liked well and tasted.
