Contribuisci feedbackOur third visit here and the place was heaving with people which is amazing as it 's in the middle of nowhere and it was Thursday lunchtime. Lots of workmen, groups of locals and us the token Brits ! The usual format is Soup, Entree , Main, Cheese , Dessert for €13 it 's all very nice, home cooked with a little bit of Flair as the proprietor/ chef clearly loves what she does and likes to see satisfied customers . Typical starters are mixed leaf salad with bacon and a fried egg not as odd as it sounds as you puncture the egg and treat it as additional dressing Steak Frite for main and tart or ice cream for dessert . Exceptional value even by French standards as their food always has a little extra
The restaurant Chez Janine in Hautefage has just reopened! Before it's good! Even good! And now it's always good and even better. Very warm welcome provided by Gabriel. Behind the stoves, Christophe, to form a very complementary duo, very professional, experienced, attached to the house kitchen with local products. We highly recommend this restaurant in rural or ongoing life.
The welcome, the generous, simple but delicious kitchen, do not hesitate to cross the door to spend a good time.

We always eat well at Janine's. Copious and delicious dishes. Its kitchen has as much character as the owners and that is what makes all the charm of this very pleasant restaurant... I highly recommend.
