Cafe El Escorial - Havana

Been here a couple times nice location and fair prices. Had the cubano sandwich (excellent light not stodgy like elsewhere), coffee and cakes (also good). Service is friendly but so inattentive and forgetful be prepared to chase them the whole time....

Bad experience. We ordered a (very expensive) pasta dish and requested it to be served without cheese. It came out with cheese. Their solution? they just took it off with a big part of the dish. Also 8 CUC for such a small, lame dish?

One of the best piña coladas and daikiris. Really recommended! The ambient is awesome, and they also serve food, Cuban and Mexican.

They dont speak english and the one who does doesnt know half of the menu (which by the way doesnt exist on paper just on a blackboard) so she just translated the skewers and nothing else. They constantly mixed up the beer orders. We literarily had to point at food and drinks at other tables “thats what I would like” Their location is the only good part about them. That is probably they do not even try. Its a tourist trap. Avoid it! Go to La Vitrola right accross rhe street

Live music, good cocktails, nice atmosphere, nice service. Good place for starting the night
