The taste of eating was very good. the brat was a bit on the cool side, would have been hot when it served. something on the carrot and the papagei, as only a piece, but the bark was abundant. yorkshire puddings good and my roast potatoes are craspier tired bit they are but I am not mass production. it was cold to sit at the back of the pub and would not want to sit there again. I want to sit in front of the pub when we come back to what we will do. the staff was excellent, courteous, helpful and happy, which is why we have left a great tipp.
The lamb was incredibly disappointing, all fat and bone, and the noodles were cold. The bartender was no help and informed us that the kitchen was closed, so we left on our way home. The manager was nowhere to be found. Overall, the service was lacking and there was hardly any personal attention given.
Beautiful pub, great service. slowly roasted lamb was disappointing, but everything else was great.
My group consisted of 4 adults, 2 children, and a young puppy. The restaurant had plenty of space for everyone and the service was quick and attentive. The food was excellent, just as good as another location I had previously rated as excellent. Thank you to the Wheelwright team for a wonderful family lunch.
