Wright Co. - Havelock North New Zealand

This restaurant is a true gem from Auckland to Hawkes Bay. The food was excellent and the portion sizes were generous. I enjoyed it so much that I visited twice. The atmosphere was very clean and inviting. My only issue was that the owner seemed to have an attitude problem and needed to smile more (would have given 5/5 if not for this). Overall, I had a great experience.

Good strong coffee and friendly service in a cozy, trendy setting. The eggs benedict with ham was superb with a nice hint of lemon to cut the hollandaise sauce. Perfect runny eggs.. busy even on a week day morning! The pastries in the cabinet look amazing too..

Nice local cafeteria with great choice of breakfast/ lunch food options including some vegetarian and vegan and delicious coffee! Service is very good and everyone is smiling being so important to start your day. It’s one of the most popular cafes in town so can get very busy , but there are plenty of seating options both inside, outside as well you can take away.

Consistently good food. Time is taken to listen to feedback with small tweaks made to ensure each dish is as good as possible. A similar approach to decor means the cafe always looks fresh and vibrant. Service is efficient but also warm and friendly, with small touches such as a water bowl for furry friends. All and all a top notch experience.

Recommend their bao buns, crispy outside and soft inside with slow cook pork belly, fat and juice meet, mix with pickle salad to give you the refreshing to balance the fat from the pork bun. Nice combination
