Big Apple Pizza Bistro - Havelock

I'm not sure what went wrong, but the service for delivery was incredibly slow. I ordered a pizza and was told it would take one hour and 15 minutes. After waiting two hours, I called to check on my order, only to find out it had been sitting there waiting to go. I would have chosen to pick it up or made other dinner plans if I had been informed about the long wait time. The person I spoke with seemed apologetic, but I can't help but feel frustrated. By the time my pizza finally arrives, I’m sure it will be cold. This was my last delivery order, as this has been a recurring issue over the past year, but this was just unacceptable.

I ordered a ham and turkey sub and ended up with a large sandwich that had barely any ham and no turkey at all—just a ton of vegetables. When I called to complain, they told me not to touch it and that they would send a replacement. Who actually inspects their sandwich before eating it? Even McDonald's wouldn't handle it this way, and the price for a few slices of ham is just outrageous. I'm really disappointed with Big Apple, which used to be my favorite place to eat. In hindsight, I should have gone with a veggie option since that's all I could taste. I ended up having to pile all the meat on one side and throwing the rest away.

I was excited to try the garlic knots but was a bit disappointed after giving them an honest taste test, as my expectations were higher. The pizza, on the other hand, was good! However, the garlic knots were too oily and not as soft as I had hoped. I would suggest trying them for yourself, but I wouldn't worry too much about it. Definitely recommend the pizza and desserts!

Terrible, this has gone down the hill, $62 for 2 Giros and 2 small pizzas with very little lace, could hardly see the pizza sauce and maybe 1/2 teaspoon on Zhititi sauce in the Giros. What the hell happened to use to enjoy food there, won?t waste my money back there, just something that was good was the guy who delivered it to my business. I also forgot to mention that the Giro was cold and the pizza was slightly warm, I will certainly not recommend any of my customer base from my local store to go there, complete waste of time!

I did not expect the quality of the dinning area! Was much nicer than expected for a pizza place. Ordered the Southwest Chicken Salad and it was amazing! Staff was very friendly and efficient. Definitely going back.
