The Kitchen Table - Havelock

Off the beaten path, but a great find! Beautifully decorated; lots of land feel kitchen. Very clean! Excellent prices for breakfast and lunch. Breakfast was nicely plated. Portions were good. I gave 4 stars because I thought the hash browns had an unusual combination of cheese and peppers; not crispy.

A beautiful local restaurant and good food. I had the Dagwood sandwich and my wife tried the tomatoes lobster bisque soup. Both were excellent! Give them a chance, and you'll be happy. Not fast food, so be patient.

Great food, wonderful service and the atmosphere made me feel like I stopped visiting my best friend for lunch. The whole family of four left the restaurant full and happy. Thank God we found you on the line. This makes the next five hours of driving much more pleasant. I just wish we lived nearby so I could stop.

This is our favorite place in New Bern. My wife and I love the free muffin Saturday and the sandwiches are great. The owner is an explosion to be around and will come a chat with you when she can. We love to support this little business!!

We loved the food. We are expeditors and sometimes it's not easy getting good food. The biscuits and gravy is big and very good. The blt and potato salad is very good. We were very pleased. We couldn't eat more at the time but we got a biscuit to go for later and a chocolate chip cookie (chocolate chunk) and banana bread. We will go back. Thank you
